Welcome to Sons of the Land Co, an indigenous family-owned business based in Lake Bathurst, NSW. Australian owned and founded by Bel, Pete, and their two sons, Toby and Finn.

We have the same story as so many Aussie families.

Our Son developed red, raw, Eczema on the backs of his legs. We did what any family would do and we went to our local Dr. they instantly diagnosed it as Eczema, but when we questioned why, they gave us nothing, zip, zilch and just insisted I fill the steroid script and apply daily; but not more than once a day and not for longer than two weeks. Cue the immense worry to our Sons health. We left that doctors appointment knowing we had to find our own solution and Finn's 'root cause'.

Never in our wildest dreams did we think it would open the door to really understanding skin health, over all health, and a much deeper understanding of root causes. Bel thought she knew what health meant, after all she is a trained PDHPE/Science teacher with over 12+ years experience in the field. What she realised, was there's so much to learn about overall health and the first place to start was to go way back in time...

We wanted to share our success with others.

Whilst to this day we still don't know exactly what Finn's 'root cause' was, we did find that the body washes, dish soaps, laundry detergents, some food products and the list goes on that we were exposing him, and the rest of our family to daily, was causing mircro-dosing and bioaccumulation of toxic, synthetic substances, that his, and now we realise, our bodies, just couldn't get rid of quickly enough and his body reacted by showing this stress through his skin.

We turned to Beef Tallow after buying cooking beef tallow and seeing amazing results. We knew there must have been a slightly nicer way to lather ourselves in beef fat. So we further rendered, whilst maintaining the fats nourishing vitmain profile and blended with nourishing oils like Coconut Oil and Kakadu Plum Oil. We focus on ingredients in their most natural form and serving a purpose of their own.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, natural skincare products that promotes hydration, repair and overall skin health. We want to provide products that have multiple uses so families can spend their hard earned money on other things, rather than having 10 different products.

Beef Tallow truly is liquid gold and we hope that you, like us, will take a gamble and try something out side the mainstream media push of petroleum based moisturisers.
